Let’s explore the wonders of fig leaf syrup and see how it can elevate your summer sips!

What is Fig Leaf Syrup?

Fig leaf syrup is a sweet syrup crafted from the often-underused leaves of the fig tree. These leaves offer a one-of-a-kind flavour profile and a captivating aroma, reminiscent of coconut and fresh greenery. The syrup is prepared by infusing fig leaves with water, honey, and sugar, resulting in a fragrant liquid that's ideal for various cocktails.

For instance, fig leaf syrup pairs beautifully with spirits. It works well with gin, vodka, and even rum, making it a versatile element in your summer cocktails. Consider using it in a simple spritzer or as a unique flavour in your favourite gin and tonic to create something special. We love splashing it prosecco too.
